The booklet Bā ‛Ayn al-Quḍāt wa Āʾīn-e Farāferqehʾī (“With ‛Ayn al-Quḍāt and the Trans-Sectarian Path”) presents the author’s reflections on the rationalist views of ‛Ayn al-Quḍāt Hamadānī, his pursuit of truth, his confrontation with religious fanaticism, his defense of human rights, and his fearless opposition to tyrants, hypocrites, and enemies of reason. The text also includes sympathetic commentaries from later thinkers and scholars, and concludes with selections from the writings and teachings of Ali Golzadeh Ghafuri, whose life and thought bear many parallels with those of ‛Ayn al-Quḍāt. However, the book appeared to raise certain ambiguities for some researchers, prompting a critique in issue no. ۲۰۸ of Ayeneh-ye Pazhuhesh. The present article offers clarifications and extends the conversation, introducing new perspectives on the spiritual path of ‛Ayn al-Quḍāt and sharing intellectual recollections from Golzadeh Ghafuri’s lectures—highlighting their resonance with the trans-sectarian ethos.
