Providing a Blockchain-based security system for smart homes

A huge amount of data that IoT applications deal with is personal data of users and protecting their privacy is a very important issue, because if users are not sure about the security of their data, they will not be willing to use such applications. The recent wave of development of smart homes and smart cities can be seen in many developed countries. Although the idea of controlling devices that are at home (equipped with smart Internet of Things (IoT) devices) by a user who is outside the home may seem like a fantasy, it is accompanied by many potential threats. Many attackers can exploit this issue. Therefore, there is a need to design a secure scheme. Therefore, the designed security scheme should ensure confidentiality, anonymity and non-tracking. The purpose of this research is to provide a method to increase security and efficiency in smart homes; because the use of IoT technology is increasing day by day and one of the important challenges that it always brings is the security of users; Therefore, we want to use Blockchain technology to increase security as much as possible. After conducting studies and comparisons, the accuracy and superiority of the presented method will be proven.
