Ovarian Follicular Fluid, Promising Therapy in Wound Healing

Follicular fluid is a complex liquid surrounding the oocyte within the ovarian follicle. It contains various components, including mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), growth factors, cytokines, and coagulation factors, which play crucial roles in wound healing and tissue regeneration. The growth factors and cytokines in the follicular fluid not only stimulate angiogenesis within the ovarian follicle during ovulation but also provide the necessary stimulation for oocyte maturation and follicle rupture, a fascinating aspect of its potential applications.
