Introduction: Burn wounds weaken the patient's body and mind. Every year ۱۰۰ to ۱۵۰ thousand people suffer from burn accidents in Iran. Burn wounds have many complications and prevention of these complications is essential. Rehabilitation in these patients should be followed from the beginning of treatment in order to reduce complications. But the lack of access to specialized service centers makes the person abandon rehabilitation. In these cases, tele-rehabilitation can be very efficient in many ways. Method: Organized search in various PubMed, Web of Science and Google scholar databases and review of articles with PRISMA guidelines, the desired articles were extracted and evaluated with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Review articles, meta-analysis, clinical and cross-sectional trials were examined in this review study and ۱۵ articles were selected for full review. Finally, ۵ articles were selected for inclusion in the review study according to the objectives of the study. The articles are from ۲۰۲۰ to ۲۰۲۴. Result: By studying and summarizing the selected articles, it was found that various methods have been taken into consideration in remote rehabilitation and management of burn patients. In recent years, the use of applications and tools based on artificial intelligence has been considered for the evaluation and management of any kind of wound, both to help the treatment personnel in estimating the level and depth of the burn, and for the use of patients for rehabilitation and evaluation of the wound at home. The use of virtual reality tools and smart phone applications in burn patients and the use of social media such as WhatsApp are other methods of remote rehabilitation in burn patients that have increased the quality of life and reduced burn complications in patients. It seems that convenience of use, reduction of commuting costs, better access to rehabilitation programs and most importantly, increasing the quality of life (QOL), are among the strengths of remote rehabilitation. The negative points of using the above methods include lack of access to smart phones and the Internet, difficulty in installing and setting up applications, inability to use applications due to lack of education and storing photos and videos of patients in the medical team's equipment.
