چکیده مقاله:

Introduction and Objective: Diabetic foot ulcer is one of the most expensive chronic wounds that leads to a lot of pain and suffering and will involve high cost of treatment and sometimes leads to limb amputation. Therefore, strategies such as prevention and education to clients and their families can largely prevent the occurrence of this complication. Methodology: This study is a systematic review and about ۳۰ articles from different websites such as Pubmed, Google scholar, tyepest, Magiran, Sid, using the Persian keywords of diabetic ulcer prevention, education, diabetic foot ulcer, and keywords English, Diabetic foot ulcer, Education, Diabetic ulcer prevention was used. The inclusion criteria of the articles included all the researches that were published in Farsi and English, and their content was education and prevention of diabetic ulcer, and the exclusion criteria were the articles that dealt with the repair and healing of diabetic ulcer findings: Studies in the found articles show that due to the prevalence of diabetes and its problems, including diabetic wounds and delayed healing, the complications and costs involved in prevention and education to patients and health service providers, such as showing them risky behaviors and teaching self-care. And careful and daily observation of the feet and regular visits for examination and control of blood sugar play a significant role in reducing the incidence of diabetic ulcers and preventing the progression of the disease. Conclusion: From the results of the studies, it can be concluded that increasing awareness in preventing the occurrence of diabetic ulcers and teaching patients and their relatives through various ways such as classes and educational programs, encouraging patients to self-care and taking the necessary care for them leads to a reduction in the incidence of diabetic ulcers. amputation and also leads to reduction of care and rehabilitation costs.
