چکیده مقاله:
Introduction: Regeneration and tissue repair processes consist of a sequence of molecular and cellular events which occur after the onset of a tissue lesion in order to restore the damaged tissue. Postbiotics, the newest member of the biotics family, are valuable functional bioactive substances produced by probiotics through their metabolic activity, which have several beneficial properties, including immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and angiogenesis characteristics, resulting in acceleration of wound healing. Postbiotic strain significantly decreased the skin wound size. In this study we consider the effect of Enterococcus faecium strain KCH-۱ postbiotic on Normal human skin cells. Methods: The postbiotic was collected using bacteria precipitating by centrifugation and providing supernatant medium. Due to evaluating the effect of the postbiotics on viability and angiogenesis of Normal human skin cells, MTT assay and apoptosis assay were done by several postbiotic concentration. Results: The results show the postbiotic is biocompatible and without cytotoxicity on HFFF-۱ cell line. The Apoptosis assay confirmed the postbiotic is biologically safe. There’s no cell cycle arresting by postbiotic treatment. Moreover, there is no significant ROS production in postbiotic treated cells. Discussion: According to the results, the postbiotic provided by Enterococcus faecium strain KCH-۱ can be a safe and biocompatible reagent on normal human skin fibroblast cell line. This can be effective in wound healing and anti-aging products. For these aims more experiments are needed.
