چکیده مقاله:

Chronic wounds present a significant challenge in healthcare, affecting millions globally and leading to increased morbidity and healthcare costs. Traditional management strategies often fail to address the underlying biological mechanisms involved in healing. Recent advancements that combine innovative biomaterials with stem cell therapy represent a transformative approach that not only promotes healing but also modulates immune responses critical for recovery through specific immunological pathways. This systematic review aims to evaluate the clinical applications and mechanistic insights of integrating innovative biomaterials with stem cell therapy, focusing on their immunological interactions and effects on wound healing outcomes. A total of ۴۵ studies were selected based on defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, with data extracted regarding study design, patient demographics, interventions, and outcomes measured. The meta-analysis indicated a statistically significant improvement in healing outcomes, with a pooled effect size of ۰.۷۵ (۹۵% CI: ۰.۶۰–۰.۹۰; p < ۰.۰۰۱), suggesting that the integrated therapies lead to meaningful enhancements in wound healing compared to standard treatments.
