چکیده مقاله:

Amination of copper metal-catalyzed aryl halides has important applications in the chemical industry due to the cost-effectiveness of copper metal as a catalyst. Copper-mediated coupling (Ullmann reaction) is still a suitable reaction for the large-scale industrial production of amino compounds and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. In this study, the synthesis, characterization and catalytic activity of copper nanoparticles for selective amination of aryl halides were investigated. Selectivity in this reaction was controlled by selecting nucleophiles and suitable reaction conditions. In this study, by using Ullmann reaction, a C-N bond was formed by the reaction between the ۲-chlorobenzoic acid and some amines. Also, the effects of different reaction parameters in the presence of copper nanoparticles as catalysts were investigated to determine the optimal conditions. The structure of the compounds was determined by FT-IR, UV-Vis, ۱HNMR and ۱۳CNMR spectroscopy methods. The results prove that this is an efficient, easy-to-access and cost-effective method for the synthesis of mefenamic acid derivatives.
