چکیده مقاله:
This study presents a comparative assessment of the chromite ore resource base in the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, with a focus on geological and mining-engineering parameters. The analysis of major chromite deposits indicates a predominance of low-grade ore within the explored reserves. The paper underscores the critical demand for high-grade chromite ore in industrial applications and reviews the diverse utilization of chromium in various sectors. The necessity for timely geological prospecting and the industrial exploitation of chromite deposits in both Russia and Iran is emphasized. Recommendations are provided for optimizing mining operations to enhance chromite production efficiency. A predictive analysis evaluates current production trends and potential implications of declining output capacities. The findings highlight the imperative for further research into sustainable high-quality chromite extraction methodologies in both countries. A comparative evaluation of chromite reserves in Russia and Iran was conducted, with detailed examination of the mining-geological characteristics of key Iranian provinces: West Azerbaijan, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchistan, Khorasan-Razavi, Hormozgan, Fars, and South Khorasan. The study identifies notable similarities between the chromite deposits in Fars Province (Iran) and the Ural region (Russia) in terms of geological setting and mining conditions. Based on these findings, it is concluded that collaborative research initiatives, including data exchange, joint studies, and shared technological testing, could significantly enhance the efficiency and sustainability of chromite production in both nations. The paper proposes strategic recommendations for advancing bilateral scientific and technical cooperation in chromite mining and processing.
