چکیده مقاله:

The present study examined retinal neurodegeneration in systemic diseases. The retina is a thin layer of tissue that extends into the inner part and back of the eye. The retina is located near the optic nerve and its function includes receiving light and converting it into a nerve signal. The present study investigated the issue by reviewing ۴۰ articles published between ۱۹۹۰ and ۲۰۲۴ with keywords including "ICU", "Nursing", "Medical Staff", "Health Care", and "Hospital Infection" in PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Science Direct, EBSCO, Wiley, Elsevier, Embase databases, and Google Scholar. The results of the study showed that various variables affecting eye degeneration can positively predict part of psychological well-being so that ۲۵.۶% of the changes can be explained. Based on the research, it can be suggested that the disease can be a predictive variable for psychological well-being. This finding is consistent with the findings of the studies of Mack and Wong (۲۰۱۱), Couto et al. (۲۰۱۱), Thomas et al. (۲۰۱۲), Perch et al. (۲۰۱۲), Souri and Hejazi (۲۰۱۳). Diabetic patients face many problems in terms of quality of life, and the personal, social, and economic status of these patients has a significant impact on their quality of life. Evidence also shows that a wide range of diseases, an individual's attitude towards the nature of the disease, consequences, control, duration, and cause of the disease are effective in determining healthy behaviors and psychological well-being.
