چکیده مقاله:

The nursing process serves as a structured and systematic approach to delivering patient-centered care. It encompasses five key steps: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. While this framework remains essential in nursing practice, the increasing complexity of healthcare systems, resource limitations, and rising patient expectations have created new challenges that impact its effective execution. This paper explores how clinical management strategies can be integrated into the nursing process to enhance both the quality and safety of care delivery. Through a review of current literature and analysis of best practices, the study identifies key managerial approaches—such as workflow optimization, effective delegation, clinical decision support systems (CDSS), and continuous quality improvement (CQI)—that contribute to a more efficient and responsive nursing process. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of health information technologies to support nurses in real-time decision-making and prioritization of care. Furthermore, the paper highlights the importance of leadership in nursing, noting that strong clinical management fosters a culture of accountability, communication, and adaptability within care teams. These qualities are vital for addressing challenges such as staff shortages, high patient acuity, and the demand for personalized care. The findings suggest that applying clinical management principles to the nursing process not only improves workflow efficiency but also contributes to better patient outcomes, reduced errors, and increased job satisfaction among nurses. By viewing the nursing process through a managerial lens, healthcare organizations can foster innovation, resilience, and sustainable improvements in care delivery. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge supporting the integration of management sciences into nursing practice and provides actionable recommendations for nurse leaders and policymakers aiming to modernize and strengthen nursing care systems.
