چکیده مقاله:

Coronary heart disease is one of the most important causes of death in the world. Atherosclerosis is a severe and common form of cardiovascular diseases. There are several ways to treat this sickness and nowadays, stenting is the most appropriate way in most cases. Nevertheless, repetitive cramps after stenting (in-stent restenosis) is one of the main limitations of using this treatment method. Studies show that this event correlates with the stress concentration in the stented vessel wall and the possibility of ISR (in-stent restenosis) increases by increasing the stress in the artery wall. In this description, the mechanical quality of the artery and its initial diameter effect on how stress actions. Given that the mechanical quality of the vessel and its geometric dimensions are different from one study to another and have a statistical nature, the results of the simulation of the stent mechanical effect on the vessel wall is different based on groups. In this article, the effect of artery diameter on the restenosis rate was investigated by means of statistical analysis and finite element method.
