Preparation of Al-Ca Layered Double Hydroxide as a nanostructure for gas absorption

Layered double hydroxides are porous and layered structures with a nanometer-scale thickness. Due to their sheet-like morphology, these nanostructured compounds can provide a high contact surface area for the adsorption of various toxic substances, ions, and gases. In this study, the synthesis method of LDH composed of Al-Ca and its structure have been investigated. The results of nanostructure characterization using FESEM and EDS tests show that the desired nanostructure has been well synthesized by the described method.
