چکیده مقاله:

Chemotherapy is one of the traditional methods for inhibiting cancer cells, which leads to disruption of the cancer treatment process due to side effects. Today, drug delivery in various diseases, including cancer, has expanded significantly. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have increasingly attracted attention in different scientific and industrial fields due to their unique physicochemical, mechanical, and electronic properties. Also, CNTs are widely used in medical fields, especially in drug delivery, targeted therapies, and the construction of biosensors, due to their high surface area-to-volume ratio and specific interactions with cell membranes. However, for the broader use of carbon nanotubes in biological and therapeutic fields, a more detailed study of the biocompatibility and toxicity of these materials in biological systems is needed. It is hoped that further studies and investigations will facilitate the treatment of various types of cancer using CNTs.
