Large queues and extended patient waiting periods are among the drawbacks of the MRI process in numerous healthcare centers. With the implementation of classical system analysis methods, the primary objective is to find solutions to these different challenges. These identified inconsistencies can be addressed by leveraging the benefits of simulation modeling in the present investigation. Our primary goal in this investigation was to use the discrete event simulation software AnyLogic to achieve the highest recruitment percentage in various employee jobs. Our comprehensive model encompasses the complete MRI workflow from patient enrollment and triage through scanning and reporting. This method's optimal resource allocation is carried out after identifying possible issues. As demonstrated by the simulation findings, it is feasible to achieve substantial improvements in patient flow and resource usage through meticulous preparation and optimization. This consequently improves overall operational effectiveness in MRI departments by decreasing waiting durations.
