چکیده مقاله:
Marital disenchantment, sexual dysfunction, and irrational beliefs significantly contribute to sexual conflicts among couples. In this context, various therapeutic approaches have been proposed to address these issues, with Transactional Analysis (TA) and Schema Therapy (ST) being recognized as effective methods. TA focuses on communication patterns and personality roles, aiming to improve relational dynamics, while ST targets identifying and modifying maladaptive schemas rooted in early life experiences. This review study aims to compare the effectiveness of these two approaches in reducing marital disenchantment, enhancing sexual function, and correcting irrational beliefs in sexual conflicts. The methodology involved a systematic review of articles published in reputable databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar over the past decade. Findings indicate that both TA and ST significantly positively impact reducing marital disenchantment and irrational beliefs. However, ST demonstrated greater effectiveness in improving sexual function, likely due to its deeper focus on resolving core maladaptive beliefs. The integration of both approaches appears promising, suggesting that a combined therapeutic model might more comprehensively address the multifaceted nature of sexual conflicts. Future studies with larger samples and extended follow-up periods are recommended to validate these findings.
