چکیده مقاله:

Motivation is a crucial factor in the learning process, influencing students' engagement, persistence, and overall academic success. This paper explores various teaching methods and their effects on student motivation, drawing on a wide array of educational theories and research. The study categorizes teaching methods into traditional, constructivist, and technology-enhanced approaches, each with unique implications for student motivation. Traditional methods, often characterized by rote memorization and teacher-centered instruction, may not foster intrinsic motivation, leading to disengagement. Conversely, constructivist methods promote active learning, critical thinking, and collaboration, which can enhance students' intrinsic motivation by allowing them to take ownership of their learning. Technology-enhanced teaching methods, including blended learning and gamification, offer innovative ways to engage students, catering to diverse learning styles and interests, thereby boosting motivation. The findings suggest that a combination of these approaches can create a more motivating learning environment. By understanding the relationship between teaching methods and motivation, educators can design more effective instructional strategies that not only enhance academic performance but also foster a lifelong love for learning. This paper concludes with recommendations for educators to integrate various teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of students and improve overall motivation.
