چکیده مقاله:

The textile industry, as one of the largest and most energy-intensive industries in the world, has many impacts on the environment. This industry, which plays a vital role in the production of clothing, household appliances and other textile products, has caused many environmental problems due to its high consumption of natural resources such as water, energy and raw materials. The use of harmful chemicals, dyes and industrial processes not only leads to pollution of water and soil resources, but also poses many risks to the health of ecosystems and living organisms. In addition, the textile industry is one of the largest producers of greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change and the global warming crisis. Another important problem of the textile industry is the production of a large volume of waste, much of which is buried in the ground or burned due to the lack of appropriate recycling infrastructure. Meanwhile, consumer behavior and the fast fashion culture that focuses on buying and using clothing quickly have exacerbated this crisis. However, in recent years, more attention has been paid to sustainable solutions in the textile industry. The use of recycled and renewable materials, optimization of resource consumption, and the application of new technologies such as waterless dyeing are among these solutions that can help reduce the negative impacts of the textile industry on the environment. In addition, circular economy concepts that emphasize waste reduction and material recycling are rapidly developing. In this regard, the role of governments and large companies is also crucial; the establishment of incentive laws and requirements for sustainable production can help transform the textile industry and move towards sustainable fashion. This article examines all these issues and offers various suggestions for reducing the environmental impacts of the textile industry and moving towards sustainable development.
