چکیده مقاله:

The first Korean kingdom, Gojoseon, is believed to have been established around ۲۳۰۰ BCE and lasted until approximately ۱۰۸ BCE, when the Han dynasty of China took control. Buddhism was introduced in ۳۷۲ CE during the Goguryeo dynasty, influencing the construction of Buddhist temples across Korea. While Korean Buddhist temples share common characteristics, they also vary by location and era. These temples are built according to geomantic principles of Chinese tradition. Over time, Korean pagodas developed a unique style that is distinct from Chinese pagodas. The Han dynasty, which lasted from approximately the second century BCE to the second century CE, was China’s first major empire. It expanded its territory into Central Asia, Tibet, Vietnam, and Korea. A controversial topic in Korean history is the establishment of the Han Lelang commander in ۱۰۸ BCE, which lasted for four hundred years and is often viewed as a common source of conflict during Korea's early experiences of colonial rule. The influence of Chinese culture on Korea can be traced back to the Goguryeo period. Korea adopted various aspects of Chinese culture, including language, arts, religion, and governance, transforming these elements into distinctively Korean forms. This research highlights the extent of this influence, particularly during key periods such as the Silla and Tang dynasties, and compares the impacts of different Chinese dynasties on Korea.
