Investigating the Philosophical Foundations of Education from the Perspective of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) with the Approach of Facing the Problem of Apostasy

The meaning of 'philosophical and educational foundations' in the educational system of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is those relatively fixed and general features that are inferred in the educational process based on the foundations of his thinking and set as the standard for educational activities. Reason can understand that in order to achieve eternal happiness, one must do what pleases God and avoid everything that causes His displeasure, but understanding the details of the way to happiness is beyond its ability. Only with the guidance of religion can we know how to follow the path. Without the guidance of revelation, reason is unable to answer the relationship between our behaviors in this world with its consequences in the hereafter. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a comprehensive model. According to the contents mentioned in this article, ten of the educational philosophical foundations of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are mentioned and finally, the issue of apostasy of youths and teenagers is discussed, which according to the authors has its roots in the childhood of individuals. For this reason, the way of raising children is discussed according to the principles of educational foundations of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). In general, treating children with kindness and respecting their personalities plays a significant role in their education and reform. Observance of justice among children and of course relatively more love for girls in childhood and avoiding rudeness and false promises to children are among the things that have been taken into consideration in the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
