چکیده مقاله:
In the society of ignorance (Jāhiliyya), women suffered from many challenges, the most important of which was the degradation of social status and rank, in such a way that from the society's point of view, sometimes they were degraded to a level lower than human or to the extent that they were considered a product to provide men's desires. Such an attitude, which had led to the emergence of many problems for women, changed with the advent of the Messenger of God (PBUH). Therefore, the difference between the position of women in Jahiliyya and Islam, as well as the different benefits of women from social benefits in Jahili society and Islamic society, is one of the grounds for raising the question, what is the basic and important work that Islam and the Messenger of God (PBUH) did about women? Therefore, in order to answer this question, the relevant data were collected and explained in a comparative-analytical way, and the conclusion was reached that the problem of the ignorant society towards women was their negative view towards women. In this culture, women were ominous and were known as cunning and cunning beings. They did not value women and reduced them to the level of a commodity. This led to women's deprivation of their natural and social rights as well as their property right. Also, it was found that the most important thing that Islam and the Messenger of God (PBUH) did was to change society's attitude towards women. Islam considers women as half of human society and possessing inherent dignity, and for this reason, women are entitled to benefit from natural and social rights, and Islam rejected and denied all the laws that lead to the violation of women's rights. While these changes depended on the change of concepts, laws, and the explanation of women's rights, they were also dependent on the life and practical behavior of the Messenger of God (PBUH). Because the Hazrat made major changes in society's attitude towards women with the procedure he adopted in facing the issue of women and their challenges.
