Dealing with the Harms of Virtual Space in the Light of Prophetic Teachings

Contemporary human life is intertwined with virtual space in such a way that using the Internet has become a necessity. In addition to many benefits in facilitating affairs, virtual space has also had some harm to the extent that it has made many scientists think of ways to reduce harm and identify its pests. Naturally, before using any tool, it is necessary to provide necessary training to users about its usage, rules, and risks. For example, driving without the necessary training and obtaining a certificate is not allowed. Using prophetic teachings and Islamic teachings, this article tries to express solutions to identify and reduce the harm caused by being in the virtual space. Some of these harms are related to the way of interaction and presence in the virtual space, such as publishing baseless content, wasting time, and excessive involvement in virtual entertainment and games. Some are related to the content presented in cyberspace, such as immoral content, baseless kind of taking role models, and the normalization of violence and guilt.
