An Approach to Prophetic Guidance in Providing Security and Order in Islamic Society

Throughout his life, man always aims to satisfy his existential needs. Among his needs are security, order, freedom, and the like, which in order to achieve them, it is necessary to have some kind of interaction with civil life and give up some of his freedoms in order to achieve greater freedoms. Therefore, although it can be said that man is looking for his own happiness and the happiness of society is one of its branches and functions, in order to achieve this personal desire, he must pass the collective and general commonalities. Security and public order in Islam is one of the most important issues, which is considered one of the highest public and collective laws, secondly, it has been addressed in Islam both in the Quran and traditions, as well as the views of Muslim and non-Muslim thinkers. Thirdly, this issue has been discussed and investigated from various aspects such as jurisprudential, political, social-general, interpretative, cultural, economic, information-security, philosophical, and other aspects, which prompted the author to examine it from another point of view, that is, the provision of security and order in the teachings of the Prophet and by that Prophet; therefore, the present article with the title 'Approach to Prophetic Guidance in Ensuring Security and Order in Islamic Society' presents the material. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that, based on belief and religious foundations, throughout history, both in personal and social issues, mankind needs a guide, religious teacher, and leader, including religious leaders, prophets, and then divine guardians. The discussion of goodness, utility, and importance of a prophet on one hand and the possibility of his existence and knowing him on the other hand, and then the necessity and need for the existence of a prophet on the other hand are among the topics that at least the great men and Islamic thinkers have paid attention to and discussed about it. Because of the blessed presence of the beloved Prophet of Islam (PBUH), God created empathy, cohesion, brotherhood, equality, security, and peace in the Islamic society of that day. This article, after the terminology of 'security and order', deals with the issue of the order in personal, social, political, and economic affairs of the Prophet's life. In the other part, the author gives more concrete examples of the Prophet's role, such as 'the oath of allegiance, the formation of the Islamic government in Madinah and the constitution, the fraternity agreement between Muhajir and Ansar, the establishment of peace and reconciliation between Aws and Khazraj after about a hundred years of war and...' They have had a fundamental effect on the realization of security and order in Islamic society. The type of research is developmental and data collection using library studies and the research method is descriptive-analytical.
