چکیده مقاله:

Economic development is a key concept that is a multidimensional and complex phenomenon based on a set of economic and non-economic causes, it has an inseparable link with culture, beliefs, and moral values, which is usually referred to as the relationship between ethics and economy. Achieving the goals of economic development and creating relative well-being for the citizens of the society must be done through the culture and values that govern it and through appropriate economic policies and optimal use of resources and production facilities; in other words, the thoughts, beliefs and accepted values of the society are the driving engine of economic development and growth and it is not possible to achieve the goals of economic development without coordination with the cultural elements of the society and the values of a country. The activities of people in the field of economic growth and development are of great value in the expression and speech of the beloved Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and prophetic teachings. He encouraged others to work and produce with his penetrating speech and behavior. Simple life, efforts towards self-sufficiency of people, trust in God, legality of business, taking care of relatives and mercy, promotion of giving and charity, contentment and avoiding extravagance and wastage, and remembering God while doing economic activities are among the principles that are manifested in prophetic teachings. The present article, with the analytical-descriptive method and through library study and using the Holy Quran, prophetic teachings, and historical sources, explains the thoughts and values that govern the society from the perspective of prophetic teachings, which plays a good role in economic growth and development. What is obtained after the investigation and research in this article is that from the perspective of the teachings of the great prophet (PBUH), economic progress has a positive correlation with the realization of religious values by the people of the society and by observing these things, they can achieve significant economic success in all stages of their lives.
