چکیده مقاله:
The word charity is one of the factors that can have the greatest impact on the construction of the Islamic government and has many social and economic uses that are defined by the Holy Quran. According to religious teachings, charity and generosity are among the things that have many blessings in the worldly and hereafter life of man, including eliminating poverty, increasing sustenance, forgiveness of sins, etc. But on the other hand, miserliness, whose root is disbelief and distrust of God, harms the world and the hereafter. One of the important moral commands of the Quran and the prophetic way is to sympathize and empathize with others and respond to their cries, which many verses and narratives have encouraged people to give and warned against avarice and greed. Based on the prophetic teachings and the perspective of Islamic economics, which aims to eliminate the root of poverty from society, one of the suggested ways to achieve such a goal is to institutionalize the culture of charity in society. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the concept of charity in Islamic economics and to determine its limits and effects based on prophetic teachings. For this purpose, the library method is used, relying on the verses and the prophetic lifestyle. The results and findings of this research can explain the concept of charity in the Islamic economy in a precise way and by specifying the limits of giving charity (financial, non-financial giving, giving of knowledge and love, love and affection, in other words, all the things that are given are a wide circle. Also, all those who are given charity are not limited to specific people) and the effects of charity are similar (social effects such as social security, individual effects such as inner peace, forgiveness of sins, blessing in life, good ending, etc.) to provide the ground for the institutionalization of this concept in the society and in this way, it shows its positive economic consequences in the society.
