The Prophetic Tradition Included in Naqd al-Nusus by Abd al-Rahman Jami and the Ways to Escape from the Materialism of Today's World

Throughout human history, there has always been a conflict between two spiritualist and materialist spectrums. On the one hand, the tendency and belief in God and the world beyond, and on the other hand, people who insist on the monopoly of existence on physicality and matter; but after the Renaissance movement in Europe, the tendency towards materialism intensified and in today's world, the diverse and numerous problems of this tendency have faced new and deadly threats to human life day by day. The best way to escape from these dangers is to take refuge in the pure teachings of the Holy Prophet, PBUH. Especially what can be divided into the form of the tradition of Islamic mysticism? The mystical model that can be taken from the prophetic tradition for a virtuous life is considered to be one of the best ways to save from the destructive works of materialism in today's world. "Naqd al-Nusus fi Sharh Naqsh al-Fusus" by Abd al-Rahman Jami (۸۱۷-۸۹۸), a great mystic of the ۹th Hijri, is a readable commentary on the mysticism of Ibn Arabi and is considered one of the best works in explaining the tradition of Islamic mysticism. In this work, Jami has tried to use the best works of describers of Mohy al-Din to describe his summary book Naqsh al-Fusus with an eloquent pen and a beautiful combination of Persian and Arabic languages. What is clearly visible in this work is Jami's use of prophetic narrations in explaining a model of a perfect human life, which can be used to find suitable solutions to get out of the bottlenecks of materialism that is expanding in today's world.
