چکیده مقاله:
Human rights in general and citizenship rights in particular have a special place in the legal foundations of Islam and democratic systems known in the world. Getting to know the rights and duties of citizenship towards each other, observing peaceful relations between citizens, and avoiding any kind of ethnocentrism are the most important principles of cultural citizenship. The issue of citizenship rights is one of the issues that has received a lot of attention today. The ever-increasing theories and discourses of political philosophers, lawyers, and sociologists express this. While there are different viewpoints in the definition of the term 'citizen', it is necessary to examine these viewpoints and compare them in the prophetic lifestyle and laws of Iran. This article investigated by examining research backgrounds and providing a definition of citizenship and its status, and also its definition from the perspective of the Prophetic lifestyle, and finally, it is shown that citizenship in the contemporary world has moved away from its true meaning, and the compatibility of the ideas of Prophetic lifestyle with the current laws of the country further defines this departure of citizenship from its true meaning.
