The Method of Raising Children in the Lifestyle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)

In general, it can be said that parenting includes the set of methods that parents use to grow and raise their children. Various parenting styles and methods can form an important part of people's mental health. Therefore, a different group of people can be observed who act in life with different behavioral, social, and thinking styles. By using different methods, parents play a role in satisfying the needs, learning, behavior, and performance, way of thinking, social encounter, communication, and in general raising the child. The formation of a child's personality is very important in the early years of his birth. If the child's personality is formed correctly from the early years of birth, he will definitely have a healthy personality in the future. Dutiful parents should be fully aware that their child has a different temperament and personality than theirs. If they want to parent properly, they must first recognize these differences and fully accept them. This will help them to raise their child in a more correct way. The principle of 'imitation' and matching with others, especially influential and personable people and people who have high perfection and spiritual qualities, is one of the principles of Muslim psychology. According to this principle, man feels a pull in his existence towards harmony and uniformity with others, especially with heroes and saints, and for this reason, he is attracted to their actions and attributes and tries to be the same as them in behavior and attributes. This psychological tension, if combined with popularity and attraction, is effective in bringing a person to the highest human qualities, and in a short period of time, it can turn the copper of an ordinary person into pure gold. The Qur'an is based on the fact that it has introduced exemplary people in every section and has introduced role models at every time. But that example and model that can remain as a model forever (like the Islamic religion and Sharia) and attract all humanity to itself, the essence of existence and the best human being in the universe, that is, Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdullah (PBUH), is the prophets and the comprehensive human perfection, for this reason, the Holy Quran says: 'There is certainly a good exemplar for you in the Apostle of Allah—for those who look forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remember Allah much.' (Al-Ahzab, ۲۱) The above verse clearly shows that whoever is looking for eternal happiness in all directions and behaviors, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) can be the best example.
