چکیده مقاله:
This study focuses on the simulation and optimization of the sulfur recovery unit (SRU) at the Ilam Gas Refinery using Aspen HYSYS. The primary objective is to enhance the efficiency of sulfur recovery while minimizing environmental emissions and operational costs. Utilizing real operational data, the simulation replicates the current process conditions of the SRU, including critical equipment such as Claus reactors, heat exchangers, and condensers. Sensitivity analysis and parametric optimization were performed to identify the best operating conditions, focusing on key variables such as reactor temperature, pressure, and air-to-acid gas ratio. The results indicate significant improvements in sulfur yield and energy consumption when compared to the baseline operational conditions. This optimized process not only increases the economic benefits but also ensures compliance with environmental regulations. The findings provide valuable insights into optimizing sulfur recovery processes in gas refineries and highlight potential future advancements for the industry.
