Mathematical Approach to Estimate Solubility of H۲S in the Presence of CO ۲ in Ionic Liquids

Acidic gases like CO ۲ and H ۲S are extremely poisonous and hazardous. Adsorption has emerged as an effective procedure for the CO ۲ and H۲S removal. In the present study, an optimized mathematical model with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to monitor the H ۲S and CO ۲ solubility in four different ILs were used. To enhance the accuracy of H ۲S equilibrium solubility estimation, a novel optimized mathematical model was proposed and developed based on the ۸۹ experimental points of data from the literature, encompassing four ILs. Additionally, the results fetched from the PSO-optimized mathematical was contrasted with the Redlich-Kwong Equation of State (RK-EoS) and the Esmaeilzadeh-Roshanfekr Equation of State (ER-EoS) for ionic liquid-gas systems. The PSO model demonstrated acceptable prediction capabilities for estimating H۲S solubility in ILs, as confirmed the agreement between the approximations and the reported data points by six statistical analyses comparing it with RK-EoS and ER-EoS.
