چکیده مقاله:

This research analyzed the application of wet healing theory in the nursing care of a patient with skin necrosis in the donor site following tongue cancer surgery and left calf flap metastasis. This study highlights key aspects of wet healing theory in managing complex chronic wounds in older people, aiming to provide a novel approach to rehabilitating chronic wounds in this population. The wound care team systematically assessed the patient's condition, developed a staged wound management plan based on wet healing theory, and implemented personalized health education measures. The nursing plan was dynamically adjusted according to the patient's progress. After two months, the wound had completely healed. Personalized health education can significantly improve patients' and caregivers' nursing knowledge and self-management ability, thus accelerating disease recovery. This study used this model to develop a targeted health education program by assessing patients' and family members' knowledge of wound care. Considering that the patients had Alzheimer's disease, the health education required the participation of daily caregivers throughout the entire process to ensure the effective transmission and implementation of information.
