چکیده مقاله:

Biomaterials, encompassing proteins, lipids, and polysaccharides, have emerged as pivotal components in advancing medical technologies and therapeutic applications. This review article delves into the unique properties of these biomaterials, highlighting their biocompatibility, biodegradability, and bioactivity, which render them suitable for a myriad of medical applications ranging from drug delivery systems to tissue engineering scaffolds. Proteins offer excellent cell adhesion and signaling capabilities, while lipids contribute to forming versatile drug carriers and membrane structures. Polysaccharides, with their hydrophilic nature and ability to form hydrogels, provide a conducive environment for cell growth and differentiation. Furthermore, the article discusses recent advancements in production methods, including biotechnological approaches such as recombinant DNA technology and green chemistry techniques that enhance the yield and functionality of these biomaterials. By integrating insights from material science and biomedical engineering, this review underscores the significant benefits of utilizing protein, lipid, and polysaccharide-based biomaterials in medicine, paving the way for innovative solutions to contemporary health challenges.
