چکیده مقاله:

Multiphase flow regimes have a critical role in the design, operation, and optimization of pipelines and production systems in the oil and gas industry. This study investigates key flow regimes, including stratified, annular, slug, droplet, mist, and churn flow, highlighting their characteristics, transitions, and operational impacts. Using OLGA simulation software, a ۱۰۲۰-meter pipeline was analyzed to examine the effects of pressure, flow path slope, and fluid velocities on flow regime behavior. Findings indicate that slug flow dominates most of the pipeline, while stratified flow occurs in regions with significant elevation changes, particularly in valley sections. Increased pressure enhances gas-liquid mixing, improving liquid mobility and reducing slug flow potential. Additionally, variations in flow path slope significantly impact interphase slip and phase velocities, with steeper slopes promoting slug formation and shallower slopes encouraging stable flow patterns.
