چکیده مقاله:

Objective: The aim of this study is to compare and better understand the forces acting on the ankle joint at the Instant of Contact (IC) and Toe Off. Introduction: Jean et al. conducted a similar study in ۲۰۱۹ on eight normal subjects. Materials and methods: In this study, one subject aged ۲۵ years, weighing ۸۰ kg, and ۱۸۰ cm tall was evaluated. Data was obtained using a motion analysis system (six Vicon cameras operating at ۱۰۰ Hz) and a Kistler force plate (۱۰۰۰ Hz Data rate), respectively. Inverse dynamics analysis was used to analyze the data. For the static analysis, the equilibrium of forces and static moments were assumed, with the comparison of the forces acting on the ankle joint at IC and Toe Off. Results: In this study, the anterior-posterior and vertical forces on the ankle joint were obtained. Conclusion: Based on this study and the analysis of the experimental data, the results reveal that the anterior-posterior forces acting on the ankle joint at initial contact are ۱۰% of the body weight magnitude. To prevent injury, more attention should be paid to this phase of movement. By comparing different movement execution methods and exercise activities, it is possible to reduce the loading intensity and increase the tolerance of the cartilage and joint capsule region.
