چکیده مقاله:
Objective: The aim of this study is to quantify the effect of dorsiflexor and plantarflexor muscle activity of the ankle joint at initial contact (IC) during walking using static analysis methods and subject-specific anthropometric geometric assumptions assuming muscle torque. Background: Cutisque et.al, (۲۰۲۴) conducted a similar study and reported the Muscle strength more influential than rate of torque in gait. Exploring the complex relationship between the characteristics of the ankle and knee muscles, and how they influence gait parameters, is essential for improving our understanding of human locomotion. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted on a healthy young participant, ۴۱ years old, weighing ۵۹۰ Newtons, and ۱۶۷ cm tall. Data was collected using a motion capture system (Vicon, ۱۰۰ Hz Data collection frequency and a force plate (Kistler, ۱۰۰۰ Hz Sampling frequency). Static force and moment analysis with joint torque assumptions were used for data analysis. Results: In this study, the anterior-posterior (AP) and vertical (Z) Ground reaction forces (GRF) acting on the ankle joint at (IC) were calculated, and the following values were obtained: GRF(Z) = ۴۴.۸ N, GRF(AP) = ۶۴۸.۸ N. Conclusion: Based on the experimental data analysis in this study, our results reveal that the effect and magnitude of the AP force acting on the ankle joint at (IC) can be up to ۱۰% of the participant's body weight. Therefore, prevention of potential injuries requires greater attention. By comparing different movement execution methods and recommending and comparing exercise activities, it is possible to reduce the loading intensity and increase the tolerance of the cartilage and joint capsule tissues.
