چکیده مقاله:
Mass panic and Crowd disaster are man-made hazards that can cause irreparable human losses under various conditions. This article aims to investigate the effects of the presence or absence of wheelchair users at metro stations using simulation through stochastic differential equations on the probability of mass panic and Crowd disaster. This quantitative-theoretical research is conducted in a descriptive-analytical manner. Numerical and quantitative data such as the number of passengers, the number of gates, gate throughput capacity, and similar factors were collected through field observations to evaluate different aspects of this research. To control the reliability of the findings, ۳۶ articles published in reputable international journals were reviewed. The findings of this study showed that in case of natural or man-made initial incidents such as fires or earthquakes leading to the onset of fear and flight in the population, the presence of wheelchair users increases the likelihood of fear, flight, and the occurrence of mass panic and subsequent Crowd disaster. Therefore, appropriate measures should be taken to separate wheelchair users in metro stations and trains.
