چکیده مقاله:

In this work, a highly selective electrochemical sensor was designed for the determination of iron (III) ions using the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with reduced graphene oxide (RGO) by forming a polymer layer by direct electropolymerization. Fe(III) ion-imprinted polymer (Fe(III)-IIP) was prepared using N, N’-Bis (۴-hydroxy, ۳-methoxy benzylidene)-۱,۴-phenylenediamine (HMBPhDA) as the ligand in the presence of iron nitrate salt. The as-synthesized samples were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and elemental analysis. The electrochemical techniques including cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV) were applied to study the sensor's behavior toward iron (III) ion The sensor shows good linearity over the range of ۱.۰ to ۱۵۰۰ ppb, with a low limit of detection ۰.۳ ppb (S/N = ۳), in SWV mode. The electrochemical sensor based on IIP design successfully detected ultra-trace amounts of Fe(III) ions in water and amine samples.
