Providing Strategies for Increasing Municipalities' Revenues

Municipalities are among the most important public and non-governmental organizations that are aware of their financial constraints and try to solve their urban issues through appropriate approaches. Municipalities seek to provide optimal services with limited resources and address urban challenges. The lack of sufficient financial resources has made it difficult for municipalities to provide sustainable services and solve urban problems. Urban management faces challenges due to the lack of financial resources, which affects the ability to attract sufficient and appropriate financial resources and urban infrastructure. The lack of municipal financial resources has led to challenges in urban sustainable development and the construction and sale process. The key to municipal revenue is to provide a new model of urban economics. In the context of sustainable urban economics, identifying and implementing strategies to improve urban management resources is crucial. The main goal of this research, using a descriptive-analytical method, is to identify appropriate sources for increasing municipal revenues. The research results show that among the primary responsibilities of municipalities are providing appropriate services such as maintaining public safety, waste collection and distribution, creating a suitable urban environment, designing leisure spaces, and directly contributing to sustainable municipal revenues.
