چکیده مقاله:

Urban development is a complex process that involves multiple stakeholders, ranging from governments and businesses to citizens and technology providers. As cities grow rapidly, they face numerous challenges, including inefficiencies in governance, lack of transparency in real estate transactions, inadequate public services, and increasing concerns over data security and privacy. Traditional urban management systems often rely on centralized authorities, making them vulnerable to corruption, inefficiencies, and cyber threats. Blockchain technology has emerged as a groundbreaking solution that can address these challenges by offering decentralization, transparency, and enhanced security. By leveraging distributed ledger technology, blockchain ensures that data is immutable, transactions are tamper-proof, and processes are streamlined without the need for intermediaries. These features make blockchain particularly well-suited for applications in urban development, such as smart city management, real estate transactions, decentralized governance, and public services. This paper explores how blockchain can revolutionize urban landscapes by making cities smarter, more resilient, and citizen-friendly. By analyzing real-world case studies and theoretical models, we will examine the role of blockchain in governance, real estate, public services, infrastructure, energy, and environmental sustainability. Additionally, we will discuss the challenges associated with blockchain adoption, including scalability issues, regulatory uncertainty, and integration complexity. Ultimately, this study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of blockchain’s transformative potential in urban development and the steps required to overcome existing barriers.
