چکیده مقاله:

The present study focuses on the effect of individual versus cooperative digital storytelling on the foreign language learners’ total gain in conversational proficiency based on FSI rating scales of Higgs and Clifford, 1982 and ILR leveling. Digital storytelling, as a tool for integrating digital literacy with content-knowledge was here integrated with yet another medium except the digital process itself, which is the foreign language they are learning. Digital storytelling is so widely spread around the world that every year conferences, webinars, seminars and championships are held around the world. This study’s main objective was to investigate whether or not the young learners experienced a significant change in speaking via rating their speech over a pre-test and post-test recorded sound. T-tests were administered to judge the efficiency of each of the courses. The analysis conducted with SPSS software revealed change in conversational proficiency of the individual digital storytellers and change in conversational proficiency of the cooperative digital storytellers
