چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the impact of innovative English teaching strategies on student engagement and language proficiency in Iranian secondary schools. The research examines methods such as Task-Based Learning (TBL), Flipped Classrooms, and Gamification to assess their effectiveness. The study was conducted in five secondary schools in Tehran, with a sample of ۱۵۰ students and ۳۰ teachers. A quasi-experimental design was used, involving pre- and post-intervention assessments, student surveys, and classroom observations. The findings indicate that students exposed to innovative methods showed a ۵۵.۲% increase in motivation and significantly improved speaking and listening skills compared to traditional classrooms. Teachers acknowledged the benefits but cited challenges such as curriculum rigidity, time constraints, and limited access to digital resources. These results suggest that incorporating student-centered teaching approaches can enhance EFL learning outcomes in Iran. Educational policymakers should consider curriculum adjustments and teacher training programs to facilitate the adoption of modern pedagogical strategies.
