Abstract: This literature review explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, highlighting its potential to transform teaching and learning. The review is organized into six parts. First, an introduction to AI and its applications in education is provided. Next, the problem of integrating AI in education is stated, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive understanding of its benefits and challenges. The third part outlines the methods used to gather and analyze the literature. The findings reveal that AI can improve personalized learning, automate administrative tasks, and provide data-driven insights. However, ethical concerns, lack of teacher training, and data privacy issues are significant challenges. The review concludes by highlighting the importance of a balanced approach to AI integration, considering both its potential benefits and ethical implications.
