Increasing mental health and resilience leads to progress and growth of individuals. In today's world, with the advancement of technology and the increasing use of smartphones, mental health applications have been considered as a new tool for providing counseling and treatment services to individuals. Health psychology apps can be present at all stages of clinical service delivery, such as immediate crisis intervention, prevention, diagnosis, initial treatment, complementing in-person treatment, and post-treatment management. In recent years, a large number of mental health apps have become available to smartphone users. In this study, a qualitative method was investigated to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of mental health apps based on Islamic culture, which can also play an important role in the mental and physical health of Iranians. In this way, the effectiveness of the apps on the one hand and their effectiveness on mental health on the other hand are examined from the perspective of sociological psychology. The aim of the present study was to determine the effectiveness of health promotion program training based on evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of apps on mental health. These apps can act as a complement to traditional and modern treatments and help increase access to mental health services. Sociology, along with psychology, can be of great help in analyzing the results of this article. Social integration, balance between legitimate goals and means, class equality, and healthy interaction are among the important and influential factors in individuals' mental health. This article examines the effectiveness and efficiency of these applications on mental health.
