Two separate reports from the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the U.S. Institute for Peace , has detailed how Iran is increasingly leveraging the power of artificial intelligence to supercharge its cyber capabilities —most notably, by deploying deepfakes as instruments to conduct infiltration campaigns , a sign of a shift toward digital warfare . Iran 's brewing artificial intelligence revolution has helped industries including health care and entertainment , and it is shaping a cultural shift in how Iranians use technology. The findings indicate that there is consensus in the field of artificial intelligence at the national level in Iran, and in this way legal, software and hardware infrastructures are being created. Artificial Intelligence has opened a new horizon in media industries around the world , including Iranian media industries. While governments are working to foster innovation in AI and create regulatory frameworks for its application , most are also seeking to integrate this technology into their public services. But how to ensure that AI is adopted well for the public good is yet to be fully understood .
