The movement and bounding of phrases in the sentences of Persian language based on principles and parameters theory

This article deals with the movement and bounding of phrases in the sentences of Persian language within the framework of principles and parameters theory. It has been arranged in four parts. In part one principle and parameters theory and each of its sub-theories have been introduced. Part two discusses the movement of phrases in the works of western scholars. This part presents the basic concepts of the movement and bounding theory and the relation of this theory to the other sub theories. In part three the movement of different kinds of phrases such as noun phrase, wh phrase, verb phrase, prepositional phrase, subordinate clause, adjective phrase and adverb phrase based on principles and parameters theory have been examined .In part Four some concluding ideas and suggestions for further study have been presented.
