چکیده مقاله:
Particulate matter (PM) is a complex mixture of solid and liquid microscopic particles that enter the atmosphere as a result of natural environmental processes as well as human activities. PM with smaller aerodynamic diameters equal to ۱۰ µm cannot be filtered by the eyelashes and nasal mucosa and the human respiratory system, and instead penetrates into the tracheobronchial and alveolar tissues and finally enters the blood circulation system and causes disease. Small particles whose size is less than ۲.۵ µm (PM ۲.۵) are especially harmful to human health. PM ۲.۵ and other foreign substances consequently reach potentially sensitive target sites such as BM, where they alter the activity of stem cells.
