چکیده مقاله:

Heart failure is one of the most common cardiovascular disorders, which is associated with a bad prognosis and significant physical and mental complications. This disease is the main cause of hospitalization of people over ۶۵ years old and the probability of re-hospitalization of these patients within ۶ months after discharge is more than ۵۰%. Failure to follow nutritional and therapeutic instructions and lack of knowledge are among the most important causes of frequent hospitalization. Health literacy is the ability of people to obtain, interpret and understand the basic health information they need to make appropriate decisions. Considering the increasing prevalence of this disease and the importance of health literacy, the present study was conducted with the aim of a systematic review of internal studies evaluating health literacy in heart failure patients.
