چکیده مقاله:

Polysaccharides derived from Aspergillus cristatus, the dominant fungus in Fuzhuan brick tea, have gained recognition for their bioactive properties, particularly in gut microbiota modulation and associated health benefits. Both intracellular (IPS) and extracellular polysaccharides (EPS) exhibit potential as prebiotics and immunomodulators, with applications in addressing inflammatory bowel diseases, obesity, and immune dysfunction. This systematic review synthesizes the existing evidence on the role of A. cristatus polysaccharides in promoting gut health and overall homeostasis.
