چکیده مقاله:

The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have brought significant attention to its impact on global health, particularly in the managing of healthcare services. AI has the potential to enhance the efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery, playing a crucial role, especially in low-income countries with limited access to healthcare services. However, there are major challenges such as ethical issues, regulatory concerns, and financial resources that still need to be addressed. A search was conducted in PubMed/Medline, Cochrane, Proquest, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases to retrieve clinical trials in English, while Irandoc, SID, and Magiran databases were searched for studies in Persian. The search timeframe was limited to the years ۲۰۰۰ to ۲۰۲۴. The review shows that AI has had a positive impact in various areas of healthcare management. This includes hospital management, improving diagnostic and treatment processes, optimizing the supply chain of medicines and medical equipment, and managing patient data. Intelligent systems can assist specialists by processing large amounts of medical data, predicting diseases, and providing treatment solutions. In low-income countries, AI can improve access to healthcare services. AI can play a vital role in the future of healthcare management. However, for the optimal use of this technology, it is essential to develop ethical and legal frameworks and train healthcare staff. If the existing challenges in this area are managed correctly, AI can significantly improve the quality of healthcare services and reduce costs.
