چکیده مقاله:

Obesity, depression, and anxiety represent significant global health challenges that appear to be interrelated. Body Mass Index (BMI) is a statistical measure that utilizes an individual's weight and height to evaluate body fat and obesity in both males and females of any ages. Elevated prevalence rates of these conditions are frequently observed among medical students, attributable to various factors. Currently, there is a lack of research investigating these relationships specifically in Isfahan and especially among our study population. Previous studies examining this association yielded contradictory outcomes. Consequently, the purpose of our study was to investigate the association between body weight and specific mental health disorders among medical students at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.
